Colleagues:

 

A new refreshable braille display was lighting up the email lists following on CSUN.

 

The device is called the Orbit Reader 20. It's a 20-char refreshable braille display expected to cost approximately $500 USD.

 

The device is more than a simple display device. It also:

 

*             Supports simple note taking

*             SD card read/write

*             USB and BlueTooth

*             Runs on rechargeable batteries
