Henry: In http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-qt-comments/2004Feb/0972.html you argued that the description of substring matching should discuss ignorable collation units. The WGs agreed that this was, indeed, a lacuna in the spec. Jim Melton made a proposal to add appropriate wording that was accepted by the WGs at the Cambridge meeting. This wording will appear in the next version of the F&O. Please look at it carefilly and let us know if it satisfies your concerns. All the best, Ashok
