Hi all, I will introduce myself too. My name is Gil Francopoulo and I work for Tagmatica (see www.tagmatica.com) in France. I work in the field of lexicons for some years. I am one of the authors of Genelex in the 90's and one of the authors of ISO Lexical Markup Framework (LMF ISO 24613, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lexical_Markup_Framework). Within ISO, I lead the group on named entities representation and the group for morphosyntax in the ISO-DCR. More recently, the focus of my work is : 1) Ontology design for named entity classification; 2) Named entity recognition in 14 languages within a parser called TagParser in Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish and Swedish. 3) Merge of wikipedias in 14 languages into one common big knowledge database called globalAtlas. This database is used by TagParser and is updated every week. TagParser is the parser used by Spotter which is one of the leading companies for reputation management, market sentiment and competitive intelligence in Europe. Bonne journée, Gil
