The question's come up that perhaps 17.6.1 overrides 17.5.1.
IMO, C does look the nicest, especially if you use a real page
instead of a minimized table, so that may well be the case.

Thank Bernd Mielke and David Baron. We were discussing this over IRC,
albeit not with images.
