Jack, according to our process, an individual may register a Formal Objection to a decision. A Formal Objection to a group decision is one that the reviewer requests that the Director consider as part of evaluating the related decision (e.g., in response to a request to advance a technical report). http://www.w3.org/2005/10/Process-20051014/process.html#WGArchiveMinorityViews The next request to advance a technical report is the decision to go from Last Call to Candidate Recommendation. Until then, formal objections are possible. Note that even a formal objection does not mean necessarily that the Director will reject the request to advance a technical report. But careful consideration will be given by the Director to the arguments contained in a formal objection. --Rigo On Wednesday 24 July 2013 16:52:56 Jack Hobaugh wrote: > How does this hiatus affect the deadline for formal objections and > counter proposals?
