Forgive the intrusion (is there a swbp-comments list for input from non-members?)... One component that the message from the WG to the TAG should include is a clear request for a specific action. While it's understood that the current draft is a work in progress, it's present form is simply an announcement, but does not indicate what, if anything, the TAG is expected to do, other than make a note of the WG's position. IMO, the message should finish up with something akin to "In light of this decision by the WG, we ask the TAG to close issue httpRange-14 in a manner compatible with the unanimous view of the WG." Of course, the TAG is free to disregard such a request, or choose rather to engage in a dialog with the WG, but at least it is clear how the WG expects the TAG to respond to the message and that the ultimate goal here is to close issue httpRange-14. Cheers, Patrick
