The 'topic being addressed' (as indicated in sentence 1 of the section) in this paragraph is simply "Model Validation". I think that should suffice and is consistent with the other paragraph headings - which take no position on their topics. So my suggestion is to use just "Model Validation" for the paragraph heading.
