Hi Ben, I am afraid I have a problem with the call today...based on a nativity play! In terms of progress, I'm trying to work the @src rules into the draft, on the assumption that they will go ahead. Just to say one thing though, that the way the rules are structured now is that things are very general, so the idea that an attribute is specifically about the 'subject' or specifically about the 'object' doesn't hold. For example, this would work: <div about="A" rel="[B]"> <div about="C" /> </div> giving: A B C . I mention this because it means that constructs like these, fall out in the way that I think you want: <img src="A" instanceof="B" /> <div about="A" instanceof="B" /> <div resource="A" instanceof="B" /> <a href="A" instanceof="B">label</a> I really, really hope that is ok. :) If it isn't then it means we are going to have to add lots of special cases to our parsing rules, and that gets quite messy. I apologise that I won't be there to discuss this on the call, but if you are all happy with these kinds of things--and their implications--then I can press on and complete the final change that I need to make. If not then you'll need to raise the issues on the list, and I'll see what I can do to incorporate the worries. (But like I say, people have to be very aware that exceptions make the whole thing more complicated.) And those of you who I don't speak to before, happy holidays!! And a happy new year.
