Cf. http://www.w3.org/2011/prov/track/issues/600 A recent addition to the PROV-AQ spec has been ""Forward proveance", which defines a new link header that allows users of a resource to indicate that they have done so ("pingback"). This in turn may provided a basis for collecting provenance about activities and entities that use a given resource ("forward oprovenance"). It's a short section (< 1 page), and it could be helpful to get some WG review before the next public working draft is published.
