http://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/wiki/Main_Page#Upcoming

DIAL IN DETAILS:
http://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/wiki/Dial_in_info_for_regular_call

1) Work schedule update

1.1) PUBLICATION DATE: Publication will be 23 October. For that we need
a "call for consensus" during the call, see

http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-multilingualweb-lt/2012Oct/0232.html

For changes since the previous publication see

http://tinyurl.com/8bfujeo

and

http://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/drafts/its20/its20.html#revisionlog

1.2) Test suite timeplan:
see timeplan for completing implementation conformance tests:

http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-multilingualweb-lt/2012Oct/0236.html

Need to phase completion of preparation of test suite to reflect
completion of unfinalised data categories, plus its-param and its-tools.
See summary of test suite and test committments at:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AgIk0-aoSKOadG5HQmJDT2EybWVvVC1VbnF5alN2S3c#gid=0

also need volunteers to sanity check test suite.

1.3) Update from XLIFF meeting and FEISGILTT
- proposal for XLIFF-ITS mapping see:
http://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/wiki/XLIFF_Mapping

see input at:
https://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/track/issues/55

David, it seems this action

https://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/track/actions/215

should move forward earlier than planned
Goal: set timeplan for ITS-XLIFF mapping completion

1.4) Lyon agenda
See
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-multilingualweb-lt/2012Oct/0233.html

We need your input by or during the meeting, including:
-time for test suite preparation
-time for individual work groups
-time for demonstrations
-time for XLIFF-ITS mapping
-time for draft editing
-time for issues arising, e.g. from HTML5 working group
-others?

Goal: Revise agenda;
http://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/wiki/LyonNov2012#Agenda

2) Data category overview table

See
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-multilingualweb-lt/2012Oct/0055.html

Question: how does this relate to table in sec. 6.1? Should they be merged?

Goal: Decide on it and create editor action.

3) ISSUES

3.1) Use of IRIs

See

http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-multilingualweb-lt/2012Oct/0222.html

any editor volunteer to go through the draft and harmonize to IRIs?

Goal: resolve

3.2) on/off "active" attribute for quality issue

http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-multilingualweb-lt/2012Oct/0214.html

Any disagreement to add this?

Goal: resolve

3.3) Too many pointers / global rules

https://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/track/issues/51

Solution proposal

http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-multilingualweb-lt/2012Oct/0042.html

Last discussion thread

http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-multilingualweb-lt/2012Oct/0093.html

Goal: try to move the discussion forward.

3.4) Tool information

https://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/track/issues/42

Goal: This is a stopper for mtConfidence and text analytics, please try
to move the discussion forward.

3.5) Domain in HTML5

https://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/track/issues/52

See domain algorithm in spec at

http://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/drafts/its20/its20.html#domain-implementation

Note for implementors: You need to implement that for testing, so please
make sure it works for you.

Related discussion - can we allow several domains? See use case
"metadata harvesting tool" at

http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-multilingualweb-lt/2012Oct/0098.html

Goal: try to move the discussion forward, if possible close issue.

3.6) ITS Rules or other ITS stuff in HTML5 "script" element

We now have two approaches of rules and standoff ITS in the spec: see

its-* in HTML "span"

http://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/drafts/its20/its20.html#EX-locQualityIssue-html5-local-1

inside "script"

http://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/drafts/its20/its20.html#EX-locQualityIssue-html5-local-2

http://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/drafts/its20/its20.html#EX-translation-agent-provenance-html5-local-2

What should we do with these? have just one approach, allow for both,
have guidance? Guidance for "inline global rules" is already at

http://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/drafts/its20/its20.html#html5-inline-global-rules

Missing piece is "its-*" standoff attributes vs. ITS stuff in "script
element".

Goal: decide on next step

3.8) HTML5 conformance classes

http://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/drafts/its20/its20.html#conformance-product-html-processing-expectations

http://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/drafts/its20/its20.html#conformance-class-html5-its

Goal: make people aware of this

3.9) its:param optional?

See latest mail from

http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-multilingualweb-lt/2012Oct/0199.html

Goal: This needs input from Shaun.

3.10) Provenance and agents

See latest mail at

http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-multilingualweb-lt/2012Oct/0231.html

and draft at

http://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/drafts/its20/its20.html#translation-agent-provenance

Goal: assure timely review by Dave, Phil, Pedro and others interest in
Provenance.

4) Editor's notes in tracker and in the spec

4.1) Localization workflow manager , see latest discussion at

http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-multilingualweb-lt/2012Oct/0115.html

Dave, David, if you can make an update by Monday I'll integrate that
into the draft, see

https://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/track/actions/248

otherwise I'll just add a placeholder, OK?

4.2) Other comments: See

https://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/track/issues/44

https://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/track/issues/46

Can you go through these during the call and update tracker accordingly?

For the spec
seehttp://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/drafts/its20/its20.html
<http://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/drafts/its20/its20.html>

Search for "ed. note:". You will find many reminders what to do, but
some topics might need discussion.

5) Test suite sanity check

Checking state of

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AgIk0-aoSKOadG5HQmJDT2EybWVvVC1VbnF5alN2S3c#gid=0

Goal: make sure that this is up to date, also with regards to
milestones. See

http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-multilingualweb-lt-tests/2012Oct/0012.html
