RE: Two Final Threads - Diphthongs / Final glyph checks

Hi Badral,

>I think, discussion about "whether Mongolian has diphthongs or not" makes no sense. Mongolian has diphthongs.
I agree with you.

>Using ayi, eyi etc. doesn't related to existence of diphthong.

But there are some linguists or experts in Inner Mongolia declaring the theory. But we don’t accept the theory.

>Let's think about final form. We never use y for diphthongs in final case.

If so, It is different with the spelling of Inner Mongolia’s declaration of the YI spelling of diphthongs from the limited group of linguists

But we don’t use the both in medial and final case to use the YI at all.

Hi Jirimutu and all,
I think, discussion about "whether Mongolian has diphthongs or not" makes no sense. Mongolian has diphthongs.
Using ayi, eyi etc. doesn't related to existence of diphthong. Let's think about final form. We never use y for diphthongs in final case.

Please refer it and if you find any kind of mistake please let me know.

Thanks and Best Regards,

Hi Badral and All,

I have translated the interview reply from Professor Bateer of Social Academy of Inner Mongolia.

Maybe there are some mistake or improper word usage in my translation, because of my linguistic and historical knowledge limitation.

Please correct me in anyway when you find any mistake and improper translation. I will appreciate it.
