RE: Two Final Threads - Diphthongs / Final glyph checks

Hi Greg,

Yes, you are right.

And we will hope to get agreement on follows.

1 . Encode ᠠᠢᠯ as <U+1820><U+1822><U+182F> --- AIL not as <U+1820><U+1836><U+1822><U+182F> ----AYIL

2 . Encode ᠰᠠᠢᠬᠠᠨ as <U+1830><U+1820><U+1822><U+182C><U+1820><U+1828> ---- SAIQAN not as <U+1830><U+1820><U+1836><U+1822><U+182C><U+1820><U+1828> ---- SAYIQAN

3 . Encode ᠰᠠᠶ᠋ᠢᠬᠠᠨ as <U+1830><U+1820><U+1836><U+1822><U+182C><U+1820><U+1828> ---- SAYIQAN , not as <U+1830><U+1820><U+1836, FVS1><U+1822><U+182C><U+1820><U+1828> ---- SAY+FVS1+IQAN

4 . Encode ᠳᠠᠢ as <U+1832><U+1820><U+1822> ---- TAI/TEI , not as <U+1832><U+1820><U+1836> ---- TAY/TEI

Here I am walking through several organizations and experts in this two days.

I am asking them to provide their opinion on the Mongolian Diphthongs.

I have not get complete answer from all of the interviewers yet.

According to my conversation, we can remain the possibility to match some of the parties or experts requirements.

For example, we can agree both of the encoding spells like below.

1 . Encode ᠠᠢᠯ as <U+1820><U+1822><U+182F> --- AIL or <U+1820><U+1836, FVS1><U+1822><U+182F> ---AY+FVS1+IL, but not as <U+1820><U+1836><U+1822><U+182F> ---- AYIL

2 . Encode ᠰᠠᠢᠬᠠᠨ as <U+1830><U+1820><U+1822><U+182C><U+1820><U+1828> ---- SAIQAN or <U+1830><U+1820><U+1836, FVS1><U+1822><U+182C><U+1820><U+1828> ---- SAY+FVS1+IQAN,

But not as <U+1830><U+1820><U+1836><U+1822><U+182C><U+1820><U+1828> ---- SAYIQAN

3 . Encode ᠰᠠᠶ᠋ᠢᠬᠠᠨ as <U+1830><U+1820><U+1836><U+1822><U+182C><U+1820><U+1828> ---- SAYIQAN only , but not as <U+1830><U+1820><U+1836, FVS1><U+1822><U+182C><U+1820><U+1828> ---- SAY+FVS1+IQAN

4 . Encode ᠳᠠᠢ as <U+1832><U+1820><U+1822> ---- TAI/TEI , not as <U+1832><U+1820><U+1836> ---- TAY/TEI

Thanks and Best Regards,

Jirimutu
