Hi Carlos, Thanks for your negative feedback. The DKAN implementation is run by a friend of mine who would be quite willing to implement any additions to the old DCAT we recommend. But if everyone is too busy with their own POC's and other interests I'll just shut up and let you get on with the serious work and go back to organizing use case conference calls that no one attends. Thanks. Just an aside, please note that you are not really using DCAT there, but the very same quite flawed (old version) implementation made by CKAN for which DKAN is a PHP based port. You could be easily checking that yourself just comparing the DKAN output against the specification. As a deference to the group members please also note that all of us are indeed already providing our hands-on real experience to infuse the exhaustive standards process we are driving here. You can see some examples from my side below, but I'm pretty sure the rest of the group members could be extending the list into the sunset in case you have any doubt on where our recommendations and thoughts come from. Obviously, we all are also continuously eating our own dog food and trying to apply what we pray at our own POCs and live projects. So, just being part of this group is already an opportunity and a challenge per se. That's what all this is about. Finally I'm afraid that, unless you plan to be branching and contributing to the DKAN development, I think you will have few margin to be exploring anything there by yourselves. The fact that the project is just aggregating external data and not producing its own won't be helping to test anything new either. On 10/18 a group that I pulled together met in NYC to create eboladata.org, which is an index of Open Data resources devoted to Ebola. We used DCAT as the metadata vocabulary, and stored the index in a DKAN repository. I offer this as a live POC opportunity for DWBP to explore our concepts for vocabularies and best practices not later at the end of our exhaustive standards process, but now. Today. Here is an open environment where we can test out our ideas live and use more iterative development processes to infuse our work with hands on real experience. I hope this team accepts this opportunity. eboladata.org is the URL.
