In section 1.3 "Rational for XML 1.1" there is the following curious phrase: "...despite the issuance of many errata culminating in a 3rd Edition of 2003..." There is no publicly available third edition of XML 1.0 and while there is still one more month to go in 2003, the lack of even a public working draft (which I presume is close to being made available for comment like the second edition was) makes it extremely unlikely that a third edition will be issued in 2003. I respectfully suggest that unless a normative third edition has been released by the time XML 1.1 finishes this comment period that either the reference to third edition be retrograded to the second edition reference in the CR, or that this be changed to "...of 2004..." assuming that the release of the third edition is something that the working group feels that it can guarantee by then.
