Chris, thanks for an informative post.  Every time I read a post here I
learn a little bit more.  Sometimes I wonder how much of the challenge is
technical, and how much is educational.

URIs are the Light Sabres of the Web.

Perhaps if we are able better illustrate, why they are so important, people
can start to have a little more appreciation, on they can be used, more
effectively.
