Re: Rating System For Deaf Users

Hello,

Ideally the best option would be to use a sign language questionnaire.

There is some recent research with reception studies pointing to this direction:

  1. Design and development of sign language questionnaires based on video and web interfaces<https://www.cambridge.org/core/journals/ai-edam/article/abs/design-and-development-of-sign-language-questionnaires-based-on-video-and-web-interfaces/8DD305997333D63BC090099235650C54>

  1. Toward a Sign Language-Friendly Questionnaire Design<https://academic.oup.com/jdsde/article-abstract/24/4/333/5523870?redirectedFrom=fulltext>

Tema: Rating System For Deaf Users

Hi everyone.

What is the best rating system or scale for a deaf or mute user after interacting with a service? Star scale? Number (1 to 5) scale? I have tried to find some info but it is not so clear for this kind of user neither it is fully accessible.

We are setting up a video call with an interpreter inside a chat to help deaf and mute users and we want to measure the service after the call ends. Today we use emojis after he/she closes the chat but we know that this kind of scale could not be clear to deaf or mute users.

Thanks a lot.

Regards
