Sylvie, I would suggest not getting into the problem in the first place, by having such texts in a single language appropriate to the base language of the page they are in, and if necessary, expanding abbreviations/acronyms. There are ways of writing the surrounding text that should obviate most such problems. I would expect 'foreign" phrases, or acronyms/abbreviations to be explained in clear text if necessary for the audience, for instance (this is good practice in technical writing and benefits all users, not just accessibility).
