Many thanks for this! I am just about to leave for Ireland, so it may take a few days to process this. I will do so as soon as i can. It will be good to have our first Thai translation. Since this is our first Thai translation, I need to to translate the boilerplate text first. That is the .bp text file attached. Then you can translate the content of the article attached (I created a version using the new template for you just now). You should avoid changing any of the PHP code, except for the assignments at the top. Any questions, just ask me. Please check that the document is valid, though, before sending back to me - in fact there is a checklist you can follow at http://www.w3.org/International/2004/06/translation-checklist All the best, RI ============ Richard Ishida Internationalization Lead W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) http://www.w3.org/People/Ishida/ http://www.w3.org/International/ http://people.w3.org/rishida/blog/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/ishida/ ________________________________ From: Nan [mailto:lawan@webstarthai.com] Sent: 06 October 2006 09:36 To: Richard Ishida Cc: w3c-translators@w3.org Subject: Re: Requesting for translation W3C article into Thai language Dear sirs, Thank you very much for your reply. I would like to begin my translation with the article 'Serving XHTML 1.0' on http://www.w3.org/International/articles/serving-xhtml/. Also, I have read the instructions for translating and accept all the terms and agreements provided. If possible, please send me the template and I shall begin my translation. Thank you very much in advance. If so, please let me know which ones you think you would like to work on, and I will prepare the template for you. See also the instructions for translating these articles at http://www.w3.org/International/2004/06/translation Best regards, Richard. ============ Richard Ishida Internationalization Lead W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) http://www.w3.org/People/Ishida/ http://www.w3.org/International/ http://people.w3.org/rishida/blog/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/ishida/ ________________________________ From: Nan [mailto:lawan@webstarthai.com] Sent: 15 September 2006 11:09 To: ishida@w3.org Cc: Ryuichiro Shimoda; w3c-translators@w3.org Subject: Requesting for translation W3C article into Thai language To whom it may concern, After reading through W3C articles, I find it very interesting and useful for web developers. There are some translated articles in many languages which I think it is very helpful for the native speakers. However, I still could not find Thai language. Nowadays, there are not so many Thai articles about web standards and I think that it will be very great opportunities for Thais to learn more about this matter. Therefore, I would like to ask for your authorization to translate your articles into Thai. I also read and agree on the terms and conditions for translated matter. It would be greatly appreciated if you would provide any suggestions and the procedures to do so. Thanks you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing from you very soon. Best regards, Lawan Nuntavovat
