During one of the recent WG meetings, it was suggested that using a framework approach might be a possible way to resolve issue 6713. That is, define a framework in WS-Transfer to optionally support advanced transfer mechanisms. Please find attached a joint proposal from IBM, Microsoft, and Oracle that presents a possible resolution to issue 6713. This proposal also includes a proposed resolution for 6975.
