Hi Chris, I don't think that the so-called wsp:local attribute issue is part of the optionality tar ball. The only relationship this has is that some implementors are using wsp:optional in order to achieve what something like wsp:local might achieve. I think we should focus on optionality in this section and not muddy the waters by discussing the concept of 'local'. I'm not trying to do this in order to increase the chances of something like 'wsp:local' but merely to allow the optionality discussion to be discussed without this distraction. It may be that the 'local' discussion concludes that no such attribute is needed. I'll live with that if we can all agree why. But the optionality is already an important part of the specification and requires clarity on it's own without confusion over 'wsp:local'. Do people agree or do people believe that these are directly linked. (Consider if we were starting over we'd probably keep these two issues separate because they deal with different usage IMO) Regards, William On Oct 4, 2006, at 8:51 AM, Christopher B Ferris wrote: > > [VER3] > Added new issues raised since last meeting for review with WG > Added links to relevant email threads > > [VER2] > > Fixed meeting number > Fixed link to minutes > Updated actions > Added list of regrets > Added scribe FAQ link to revised FAQ > > Note also that the Attendance tracker page [1] is not up-to-date.
