alvestrand has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/webrtc-stats:

== Work through implications of simulcast on the receiver side ==
If we want to give sensible stats when we receive simulcast, we need more work.

This can be delayed until the WG decides that we should receive simulcast.

There may be sender-side issues too.
