What @ianbjacobs said. It’s not practical to remove it because of tax calculations. Note that it’s also not very different from having a regular web form that is automatically filled by the browser. I do understand the data sharing concern: but by the user taking explicit action to “pay”, there is a reasonable expectation of negotiation and understanding in any transaction that billing address may affect tax, that shipping address will affect shipping cost (along with shipping options), and where credit cards are involved, that merchants have a right to protect themselves against fraud, etc. -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
