Chris, (pardon the top posting, Outlook is not the best email client for listservs) As I am new to the group, it is hard for me to get a sense of what is where and who all the players and skills are. Without a list of who has what and/or what needs to be done within an overarching plan, it's hard for me to see the forest past these few branches of emails. Unless http://www.w3.org/community/webed/wiki/WSC_proposed_updates is that list (sans assignments or claims). - How does one call dibs? - You mention individual groups, is there more than just this list? - I think assigning work is tricky in this environment, but proofreading might need to be assigned (based on my own experience). -----Original Message----- From: Chris Mills [mailto:cmills@opera.com] Sent: Wednesday, December 07, 2011 8:54 AM [...] Now, I want to ask for your opinions on how to move this forward most effectively. I don't want to be pushy, as I really appreciate most of you are doing this on a voluntary basis, and that your time is really precious. But what would make it easier to contribute? Should I micro manage a bit more, and give you very specific tasks to do (eg person a, write this article, person b, proofread this), with deadlines? I'll start sending a few more mails out about this to individual groups, in a minute.
