Dear all, In the last telco we discussed the possibility of an open call for nominations for the testrun but not all of you where in the telco. Please let me know what you think of the following proposals/discussions for the testrun: Discussion 1: Technically, it is easy to change the website in the survey after 10 or more evaluations. If many people join us in the evaluations, we could change the website in the survey. If there are many people evaluating, this approach makes it possible to evaluate different types of websites. For every website, we would then still have multiple evaluations. What is in it for us? We get multiple evaluations of every website. How much do we want per website? Downside: we may not get more than 10 people doing an evaluation in the survey What do you think? Discussion 2: We could open a seperate survey that people can use to evaluate a website that they are evaluating anyway and that is not on our list. This means that we only get one evaluation of every website, but for the evaluator is would be no extra work (he is doing the evaluation anyway). What is in it for us? We get feedback from real evaluations and see how people use WCAG-EM. Users can also indicate their experience in the appropriate edit fields. Downside: only one evaluation per website What do you think? Discussion 3: The question is if we want to launch an open call for nominations of websites for discussion 1 (see above) or if we want to organize this in another way? This could quickly get our of hand as many people may see an opportunity to get a free evaluation. There are also legal issues.. What is in it for us? We get more motivated participants because they can nominate websites. Downside: legal issues and expectations What do you think? Discussion 4: We do not require people to do full evaluations anymore after we receive 10 full evaluations. We could pick 10 success criteria that need to be evaluated. This saves a lot of time and makes it easier to find more people to do an evaluation. What is in it for us? More people may be willing to do an evaluation and it still helps us because we are testing WCAG-EM and not if people know how to test WCAG AA. What do you think? Kindest regards, Eric
