To be fair: the history of vc-jws-2020 is almost empty, apart from some admin changes made by me. Hardly worth any consideration.

Well… I have just created the vc-jws-2020 repository. Do you want to remove that one then in favour of a transferred repository? Or do you want to run them in parallel?

We probably should have discussed this before I was asked to create a new repo, but that is, ehem, history:-). For now, I would prefer to do a merge through some git magic (and be careful next time…).
