tracking-ISSUE-112: How are sub-domains handled for site-specific exceptions? [Tracking Preference Expression (DNT)] http://www.w3.org/2011/tracking-protection/track/issues/112 Raised by: Nick Doty On product: Tracking Preference Expression (DNT) Should a request for a tracking exception apply to all subdomains of the first party making the request? Or should a first party explicitly list the subdomains that it's asking for? Similarly, should third party subdomains be allowed (e.g. *.tracker.com)? See "Behavior for future requests with site-specific exceptions".
