OK, So you might be in favour of something like three pairs of properties with consistent naming: madeObservation / madeBySensor madeActuation / madeByActuator madeSamplingActivity / madeBySamplingDevice ? Could be fine with me. Although this rises the number of properties a bit too much in my opinion.
