I wonder whether there is a written description of the HTML+Microdata->RDFa transformation? Even better (worse?:-) do you think it would be possible write that down in the form of a WG Note? I would be happy to help you and I would also try to find some time to implement that preprocessing step on top of pyRdfa (I already have a structure where a new 'preprocessor' can be added easily if it is a DOM->DOM transformation). I think such a note would be great. > > Ivan > > On Sep 15, 2010, at 18:01 , Toby Inkster wrote: > >> On Wed, 15 Sep 2010 11:04:03 +0200 >> Ivan Herman<ivan@w3.org> wrote: >> >>> I think having a document that states very clearly how the microdata >>> information can be turned into RDF would be very good. >> You mean like this? >> http://www.w3.org/TR/microdata/#rdf >> >> Implemented here: >> http://search.cpan.org/~tobyink/HTML-HTML5-Microdata-Parser/ >> >>> If there was a possibility to map an HTML5+Microdata file to a >>> HTML5+RDFa file or, to put it another way, a DOM->DOM type >>> transformation then that would of course be useful. >> You mean like this? >> http://search.cpan.org/~tobyink/HTML-HTML5-Microdata-ToRDFa/ >> >> -- >> Toby A Inkster >> <mailto:mail@tobyinkster.co.uk> >> <http://tobyinkster.co.uk> >> > > ---- > Ivan Herman, W3C Semantic Web Activity Lead > Home: http://www.w3.org/People/Ivan/ > mobile: +31-641044153 > PGP Key: http://www.ivan-herman.net/pgpkey.html > FOAF: http://www.ivan-herman.net/foaf.rdf > > > > > -- Martin McEvoy
