The relevant open issue is fromUnionQuery http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/DataAccess/issues#fromUnionQuery The SOURCE issue is also perhaps relevant; we closed that a while ago... http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/DataAccess/issues#SOURCE but it's possible that discussion of your comment will involve re-opening it. Please stay tuned for upcoming drafts to see how they address these issue.
