http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=9715 Summary: Version Number Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT Version: Working drafts Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows NT Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: XSLT 2.1 AssignedTo: mike@saxonica.com ReportedBy: davidc@nag.co.uk QAContact: public-qt-comments@w3.org Congratulations on getting 2.1 out. There appear to be a vast amount of changes, the whole streaming work, extended pattern syntax, default templates, ... After the "XML 1.0 5th edition" episode I'm slightly wary of raising the issue but a point increase to the version number does not really seem appropriate. 3.0 would seem to be a more genuine indication of the changes proposed, it would also give the possibility of bumping XQuery related specs also to 3.0 so that XSLT,Xpath,Functions and Operators and XDM could all have the same version number. -- Configure bugmail: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
