@joshuakoran I think that it isn't bad for the CG, as part of their collection of feedback, to reach out to specific other groups, but the downside is we can't build a mechanism to bind those groups to a responsive process or schedule (they are their own operators outside of the W3C after all) and we can't leave an open-ended response process built in here so I think the best we can do is accompany this PR with a process that includes specific outreach to these other bodies in the CG? If you have specific groups in mind or points of contact can you list them and I can maybe add these into a PR to cover this process as suggested by @bslassey on the CG charter. We can even add a document that we can point to in the charter as the skeleton of such a survey in the admin repo and refine that through a separate process.
