Dear Philipp, I have only a few comments. ------------ Concerning the expression, "first-order citizen status", I think that it is more common to use the expression "first-class citizen" ------------ "the second alternative mentioned above can be relized through" ---> I think it should be "realized" ------------- In Example vartrans/example6, the properties of ":trans" are not indented. ------------- There explanation after example 6: "Clearly, the references of zip code and Postleitzahl are not the same. The extension of http://de.dbpedia.org/resource/Postleitzahl are German post codes, while the extension of http://dbpedia.org/ontology/zipCode are codes used in English-speaking countries. Nevertheless, both lexical entries can be translated into each other in written texts, so that a translation relation holds between them in spite of not being ontologically equivalent in a strict sense." I am unsure that the two properties have different extensions. However, they are syntactically different, so unless there is some equivalence axiom (I haven't checked), we are no authorized to conclude that they represent a shared reference. ------------- One last remark: in the first examples, you use terms (surrogate_mother and leihmutter) that seem not to introduce any sort of ambiguity, so the richer translation mechanisms presented do not introduce any advantage (beyond the representation of the type of translation). Would it be more appropriate to use the word "corner" presented later in the specification? In dbpedia there is a resource for road intersection, but I haven't find (by a quick search) a resource for a wall intersection.
