Dear all My name is Bernard Vatant and I've been since 2001 senior consultant for Mondeca, a semantic software and services company based in Paris, France. My main job has been data modeling and migration to semantic formats (W3C semantic standadrs pile, RDF, OWL, SKOS). I've been lately pretty much interested in the growing ecosystem of vocabularies (read : RDFS vocabularies / OWL ontologies) used in the Linked Data cloud, and am contributing a dedicated resource "Linked Open Vocabularies" [1]. A next step of this project is to develop a search interface in natural language, allowing the discovery of vocabularies potentially useful for migration of a legacy data base to semantic formats. I'm not a specialist in lexicon domain at all, so my approach to this group is rather to learn from experts around the table, and possibly test the group requirements and model in the framework of the above said project. Looking forward for knowing you all better.
