Re: W3C CG on Ontology-Lexica - Introduction

Hi.  My name is Andrea Westerinen and I am with SAIC, living in WA state.  I
am working on using natural language processing with semantic technologies,
to capture and analyze vocabularies and rule sets defined in various
languages in source documents.  The goal is to automate (as much as
possible) the capture of business and legislative lexicons and rules - and
their conversion to a machine processable (OWL-based) form.  I have been
working in this area since 2007.

I am interested in the development of natural language processing methods
for semantic information capture, and in the semantic alignment of different
ontologies and lexicons.
