Thanks for the feedback, Pablo and Jirka. I realized that I had forgotten another proposal: keep only pointer attributes, see option 1) at http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-multilingualweb-lt/2012Oct/0042.html XLIFF mapping guys, is this feature needed for the XLIFF mapping? So do we need to keep the pointing facilities of global rules?
