Folks, we've been discussing constraints registration off and on for a while. What seems plain at the moment is that: - We do know that compatible constraints definitions are important for apps being able to work in multiple browsers - We don't know exactly how we want to evaluate new constraints before agreeing on them - We do expect the webrtc WG to hang around for a while Given all that, and the considerations Dom mentioned, I wonder if the Right Thing to do is to: - Take all the registration stuff out of the spec - Make a forward informative pointer to a Wiki page of the WG where new constraints and new procedures to handle them will be pointed at - Announce the intention to work on a registration/review document once the media capture spec is finished? WDYT?
