ああ、なるほど。おっしゃるとおり、そこは回避できていますね。

ただ、実装の話と同じで、実在フォントへの懸念が払拭されていないため、合意できません。

また、「グリフ」と言った場合、どのグリフを含みますか？ カーニングには、9種類のテーブル

<https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/typography/opentype/spec/features_pt#tag-palt>ではtype
1が「Recommended implementation」なので、この「Recommended
implementation」の強制力がどれくらい強いかにもよりますが、type
1で、ペアに対して、という解釈であれば、その旨記載したほうがいいと思います。
