>Will calling into the meetings be enabled this year? The Chairs have NOT requested phone support for the F2F meeting. We are very skeptical that remote participants would be able to track the F2F discussions via a phone connection due to very large size of the room (about 1000 sq feet) and the unknow audio support in the room. We will encourage F2F participants to use the WG's IRC channel during the meeting so that remote participants can at least follow the discussions that way. We hope to encourage participants to record their own discussion points in IRC as well as orally during the meeting. In addition we will try to solicit multiple scribes to keep the IRC channel as complete as possible during the meeting. The Chairs will also monitor the IRC channel to ensure that remote participants have a chance to ask questions or make points via IRC. The Chairs are contemplating splitting the meeting into 2 or more sub-meetings (subject to room availability) if the participants want to discuss topics in parallel. This would obviously require the use of a second IRC channel. /paulc
