The processing of line breaks in the placeholder attribute is not  
defined. For the purpose of document conformance, the permitted values  
aren't defined.

In WebKit on Mac, the rendering behavior is that line breaks in the  
DOM are rendered as line breaks causing the line after the first one  
to be drawn outside the input widget.
