Hi Dimitry, since you refer to Jim Meltons [1] work on your site you might be interested in one of his early papers on the subject of relational data on the web. Don't forget to check Tim BL essay on the subject. [2] His views have evolved I believe but I think you will be able to get a good idea about the motivation for RDF from a database/SQL perspective. That said I would like to see more activity in the HTML 5 group / spec with regards to RDF, RDFa and SPARQL. Best, Marco [1] http://www.idealliance.org/proceedings/xml05/ship/185/XML2005_185.HTML [2] http://www.w3.org/DesignIssues/RDB-RDF.html On Tue, Nov 4, 2008 at 12:28 PM, Dmitry Turin <html60@narod.ru> wrote: > > Hi, all. > > > > I had preliminary conversation with my employer about implementation of the part [1] of HTML6 [2], > > and about implementation of communication via SQL5 [3] over TCP (to avoid HTTP as redundant gasket [4]). > > He needs concrete budget.
