I've removed the majority of the <div>'s from my front page, and it continues to validate. The markup is much cleaner. I have <div>s that reserve a resizable amount of space for my svg images... those will stay. Over the next few days, I'll review the rest. If my front page ceases to validate at any time, please let me know (publicly or privately, I care not). Also, I would be interested in installing the validator locally. While that appears to be possible, what I really would like to do is to keep my local installation up to date. Thoughts and pointers on how to do that would be appreciated. - Sam Ruby
