Hi Dave, > p.s. if HTML is condemned to be a final form medium, it isn't the > end of the world as there are standards based XML formats that work > just fine and lots of experience at hand in automatically adapting > the content to particular devices. But do we want to give up on > HTML that easily! Interesting perspective... my reaction to this would be to say that while it sounds inviting to preserve the "purity" of HTML and ensure that less and less bad HTML is generated, I find it would come at a really high price... HTML should remain the language of the people! At least, we should fight to preserve it so, for as long as we can before having to let it go. :) -- Denis Boudreau, Directeur WebConforme / AccessibilitéWeb 1751 rue Richardson, bureau 3.501 Montréal (Qc), Canada H3K 1G6 Téléphone : +1 514-448-2650 Télécopieur : +1 514.667.2216 dboudreau@webconforme.com blackberry@webconforme.com http://www.webconforme.com/ ======// À méditer //======= Les choses changent plus lentement que l’on pense.
