Hi Adriano, Thanks for info. I've added DataEnrichment as a challenge, I agree this makes sense and we can consider breaking this into more fine-grain requirements for future versions of UCR and BP. I've also added the description of DataEnrichment that you recommend. http://w3c.github.io/dwbp/usecasesv1.html#R-DataEnrichment Cheers, Deirdre Deirdre Lee, Research Associate, eGovernment Group Insight Center for Data Analytics, NUI Galway, Ireland Twitter: @deirdrelee, Skype: deirdrelee Linkedin: ie.linkedin.com/in/leedeirdre/<http://ie.linkedin.com/in/leedeirdre/> ________________________________ From: adrianoc@gmail.com [adrianoc@gmail.com] on behalf of Adriano C. The idea for data enrichment is that it is composed by different data tasks. The data enrichment process consists of applying one or more tasks in an independent way, where the data D are transformed in data D´ as a result of one data enrichment task. This can be a cyclic process, providing more data structure as the tasks are performed. About the table (3.2 Requirements by Challenge), do you think the challenge can be named "Data Enrichment"??? Or do you think we have to assign it to an existent challenge? I imagine the following: R-Data-Enrichment: It should be possible to perform some data enrichment tasks in order to aggregate value to data, therefore providing more value for user applications and services. The idea is to later break it in small parts, according to the its tasks to apply in order to provide data enrichment. And I agree with you that it is better to add in a future version of the BP document. What do you think about? Thanks for your support! Regards, Adriano. -- Adriano C. Machado Pereira. I’m afraid I missed the discussion around this requirement. Could you add a description for R-DataEnrichment and assign it to one of the Challenges in the table http://w3c.github.io/dwbp/usecasesv1.html#requirements-by-challenge? I know you also suggest breaking the requirement down further into R-DataCharacterization; R-DataImputation; R-DataSegmentation; R-DataDisambiguation; R-DataEntityRecognition; R-DataFusion. But perhaps this is something we could explore for the next Public Working Draft of the BP Document? I have published the new use case for "Web Observatory", which demands requirements for Data Enrichment. It is published in the Second Round Use Cases: http://www.w3.org/2013/dwbp/wiki/Second-Round_Use_Cases Any comments or suggestions can be send to me. ACTION-114 can be closed now. Thanks!
