Here is a live use case of Open Data that is community developed and self-organized. On 10/18 a group that I pulled together met in NYC to create eboladata.org, which is an index of Open Data resources devoted to Ebola. We used DCAT as the metadata vocabulary, and stored the index in a DKAN repository. I offer this as a live POC opportunity for DWBP to explore our concepts for vocabularies and best practices not later at the end of our exhaustive standards process, but now. Today. Here is an open environment where we can test out our ideas live and use more iterative development processes to infuse our work with hands on real experience. I hope this team accepts this opportunity. eboladata.org is the URL. You can join the self-organizing community here on meetup.com: http://www.meetup.com/Africa-Open-Data/ Best Regards, Steve Motto: "Do First, Think, Do it Again"
