Purpose of Vocab Mailinglist

During the meeting with Antoine we were wondering what the purpose of the 
vocabulary mailing list is.
I couldn't find any discussion on that subject and Antoine and I were not 
conclusive as of which emails should go to which list if we would discuss 
vocabulary document contents.
Certainly now that in todays call we agreed that UC&R and Vocabs will have 
a close relation separating the two emails stream makes less sense for me 
but I might have overlooked a very good reason.

Could anyone fill me in on this?
