This test assumes that U+05BE has UCD general category Ps, Pe, Pi, Pf or
Po:

In earlier versions the maqaf was Po ("Punctuation, Other"). However, in
Unicode version 5.1.0 and newer, the character is classified as Pd
("Punctuation, Dash"), so the spec seems to imply that it shouldn't be
included in the :first-letter pseudo.
