Re: Element not containing 'blank' text value

I have recently begun investigating this very question, and perhaps someone
else on this board will have a definitive answer. 
 
My recent readings, however, suggest that you can define a simpleType
element that includes a restriction child element that uses a particular
datatype (eg. integer, string, etc...), and then also provide a minLength
child element to assure that the element is not empty.
