Though my knowledge may be a bit dated, the last time I checked Xerces-C wouldn't actually validate against a schema. If you read on the xerces website, it basically indicates this. One of the Java versions would, but if I recall correctly it was one of the older Java versions and not the new alpha/beta versions. If anyone knows about APIs that will validate against a schema (NOT A DTD), especially if they aren't in Java, please let me know.
