With the possible exception of async to a topic, each of these models is of crucial importance to a significant group of potential users. I don't think that easily settles the question of where a workgroup should put most of its energy, how to layer solutions, or whether even to try to keep all of these users happy. Actually, it would be interesting to try and find out why particular choices were highly ranked. Also, and I'm traveling and don't have time to do this, I think it would be fascinating to repeat the survey on the SOAP discussion list. I suspect that would get us a view probably more weighted toward early adopters, and those already using SOAP. Again, I would be curious to see a few words of 'why did you choose' as well as which did you choose. Anyway, thanks for kicking this off.
