As I am the Jamcracker W3C AC rep, this message serves as AC rep confirmation. I am the XML Architect for Jamcracker. I have been involved in the W3C XML Activity since April 1999 on behalf of IBM and Jamcracker. I am currently on the XML Core and XML Linking WGs, where I currently serve as co-editor of the XML Link and XML Include specifications. As the first ASP Aggregator, Jamcracker is part of defining standards for the ASP industry. In particular, we focus on integration of web services where we have selectively adopted SOAP. Previous to Jamcracker, I was lead architect for an IBM Global Services lab. We successfully deployed XML based production web systems as early as June 1998. In 1999, I also architected a Global Services asset using SOAP 1.0 as the distribution format. I regularly speak about advanced XML topics at conferences such as XTech, XMLOne, XMLDevCon, MetaStructures nee Extreme Markup, and others. I occasionally contribute magazine articles, perhaps the most relevent being an April '98 Object Magazine article on the use of XML and HTTP as a distributed object system which included early ideas on xml service security, definition and discovery. I agree to participate per the charter http://web3.w3.org/2000/09/XML-Protocol-Charter. I will attend the raleigh f2f, and I really look forward to working with all of you.
